I'm the Co-site Admin at the AMD Users Distributed Computing Team forum http://amdusers.com . I started messing with computers as a laboratory scientist with an IBM SY/36 mini-computer and got bitten by the PC bug when the original IBM-PC/XT was released. Now I manage a mini farm ranging from an AMD Athlon XP mobile 2400+ to a couple of dual core Opterons and X2s. Now have some Intel Core 2 Duo and Quad machines that are impressive as crunchers.
